Mary C. Whipple is a Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) recognized by the State Bar of California’s Board of Legal Specialization. With more than 15 years of experience, she focuses on family law matters including divorce, custody, support, prenuptial agreements, and domestic violence restraining orders. She has also represented clients in probate, contract disputes, employment cases, and juvenile dependency matters, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her practice.
Mary began her career at as a contract attorney with O’Melveny & Meyers in San Francisco. At the same time, she volunteered with the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Volunteer Legal Services Program, earning the Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service Award in 2006 for her dedication to expanding access to justice. She later moved on to Cummins & Holmes, a civil litigation firm in San Ramon.
Mary is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminology at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon. She is an active member of the Alameda County and Contra Costa County Bar Associations, as well as the State Bar of California.
Beyond her legal practice, Mary is deeply engaged in her community. She serves with the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce, volunteers at Contra Costa and Alameda County Superior Courts to help self-represented litigants, and contributes to Divorce Angel, providing guidance on family law matters. She has also volunteered as a judge in the Annual High School Moot Court Competition since 2007. Mary is a proud member of the Danville San Ramon Rotary Club, was named Business Person of the Year by the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce in 2012, and is a graduate of Leadership San Ramon Valley.

With a career spanning hundreds of family law and civil cases, Tammy brings deep experience and a results-driven approach. Before establishing her own practice, she worked at several high-volume firms, gaining valuable insight into a wide range of legal challenges. She is admitted to practice before all California courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, and is an active member of the American Bar Association, local bar associations, and the Daniville San Ramon Rotary.
Tammy is a graduate of John F. Kennedy School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She is also a licensed real estate broker, a skill that strengthens her ability to navigate property valuation issues in both family law and civil cases.
